Yay, it’s March! February went by in a flash but set the foundation for some amazing changes. In a way, it planted the “seeds” for April and May flowers. I took a chance and started my blog/website this last month and published my first two blogs. My social media game has hit some great first month accomplishments. Last but certainly not least, we booked our 1st cruise in May! I’ve never been on a cruise, so I’m ecstatic at all the things we are going to do, such as rock climbing on a cruise ship, visit ancient ruins and soaking in the Caribbean sun. So, March is a crucial time to nourish my future goals and will set the path for the next couple of months.
Read two books
I’ve always had a passion for reading yet, I’ve neglected it for far too long. So I’ve made it a goal for March to read at least two new informational books. This week I bought the book “You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life” by Jen Sincero. The title alone speaks volumes to me. Something that I’m working on this month is standing up for myself. Many times I put a lot of energy into pleasing others that I forget about myself. Based on the feedback and reviews of this book, I feel this will be a great step for pointing me in the right direction. The second book I’ve picked out is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill (hence the quote above). Although this book was written in the 1930’s, it is still highly recommended to those who want to focus on personal development and improvement.
With our cruise in May, it’s the perfect time to start making some healthy changes. So I started looking at the what I’m eating on a daily basis and how I can make some modifications. First, cut back on my favorites like pasta, bread, and sweets. I’m sure you always hear about cutting these completely out of your diet when you look up the latest trend online on how to lose weight. I say you don’t need to remove all of your favorites from your life, just limit what you have and how much. So my goal is instead of having my favorites twice a week, having them once every two weeks. Second, exercise! We plan on incorporating exercise into our daily routine at least 4 times a week, whether it’s completing Jillian Michaels Kickboxing Video, hiking a nearby trail or going rock climbing.
Now, this is the first time I’m creating goals for my business adventure so I’m pretty excited right now! You have to start small to create an empire, so here we go!

Last month I started to showcase and share my blog/website with a selected group of people, therefore this month I plan on promoting more through my social media outlets.
So, here I go “marching” into March with some pretty amazing goals. I can’t wait to share my accomplishments with you next month!
